Call of Duty: World at War thrusts players into the ruthless and gritty chaos of WWII combat like never been before, and challenges them to band together to survive the most harrowing and climactic battles of WWII that led to the demise of the Axis powers on the European and South Pacific fronts. From the remains of Russia and the ruins of Berlin, to the beach and jungles of the deadly Pacific Theater, the intense action takes on added depth as players employ new features that previously were only available in multiplayer, including perks, rankings and online stats in up to four-player cooperative gameplay, and take advantage of the new infantry and vehicle-based weapons, like the potent flamethrower, that will set the battlefield ablaze. When last we left Master Chief, he was headed towards Earth, determined to stop the Prophet of Truth and his army of Brutes from destroying the universe in a blaze of zealotry. Cortana had been captured by the Gravemind, a disgusting creature intimately tied to the Flood. The Arbiter and his Elites, once bitter enemies of humankind had made an uneasy truce in order to conquer a greater evil. Frankly, things didn’t look so hot for Earth and its inhabitants. For three years fans have been waiting to find out what comes next. Most won’t be disappointed, as the story eschews some of the ambiguity of Halo 2 and tells a more straightforward narrative. Events play out like a sci-fi action blockbuster.

Coming April 5th is the new version of the Nintendo DS. It is called the DSi. It will be equipped with two cameras, downloadable internet browser, 11 different camera lenses, MP3, and an SD card slot. One major change to the DSi is the removal of the Game Boy Advance slot. You can no longer play Game Boy Advance games on the DSi. The DSi will be sold in two different colors, light blue, and black but it is probable that more colors will soon come. It will be sold for $169.99.

New Zelda Game

A new addition to the Legend of Zelda Series is coming on December 31st, 2009. The tenative title for the game is The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. In this game, Link drives around a train, which is where the name: Spirit Tracks comes from. Not much else is known about the game, except it will be released on the new Nintendo DSi, and will also work on the old DS. The graphics will be like Windwaker and Phantom Hourglass. We will post more updates as we learn them.
